Does It Really Matter That Much?

Why do we feel the compulsion to cross every T and dot every I? I think it gives us the feeling we are in a little bit (or a lot) of control, especially when we can see ourselves floundering in waves that are about to dump us.

But I see the good in it too. Having just ordered my 2021 diary today, I’m a list girl who loves nothing better than to sign off on a job I’ve been wanting to complete. I particularly love the ‘quick to do’ jobs that let me think I’m achieving more in my day. But I’m also really guilty of focusing on them rather than the ‘things to do’ that take so much longer … hmm, like writing a story!

And I bet I’m not the only one who does that! Hehe.

So when it comes down to it, I’d rather be organized for each day, see a neat tick beside my achievements and let the things I ran out of time to achieve, slide to the next day. There’s just never enough hours in the day for me!

How about you?
